Top commonly asked questions
Embedded fonts
Embedding fonts into your original design will stop them changing or appearing differently after they have been printed.
You can embed/outline your fonts in Illustrator or InDesign by opening your document and highlighting the text, then select ‘Type’ in the top menu and choose ‘Create Outlines’. Your text is now grouped together in outline form – just resave your files and you’re done. To embed fonts in Microsoft Word, you can open your document and select ‘Options’ from the drop down menu. Once you have ‘Options’ open switch over to the ‘Save’ tab. Select ‘Embed Fonts in the File’ and click ok – then resave your file.

Can I place orders over the phone?
Yes of course. We will happily take orders over the phone, as only a small number of items can be ordered online. Call us on (01259) 572097 to place your order or to enquire about our other items.
What are Bleeds?
Bleeds are a little tough to get your head around initially so we have tried to explain them in as simple a terms as possible. The bleed is the area of the artwork that will be trimmed off. If you do not provide bleed your print will have white edges on it as the guillotine blade bends 1-1.5mm through the paper stack when trimming. By using our templates you will ensure text/images are not trimmed off. We require a 2mm bleed around all your artwork (except posters which need a 6mm bleed). For more information go to our supplying artwork section.
